The Race Academy Program is designed as a 3 day per week program
to accomplish specific athletic goals for the season. NASA
Race Academy provides fundamental training that allows its athletes to achieve at the highest levels. The intramural
and inter-club racing has been first rate. Many of NASA's finest racers in the past 30 years got their start in the
Race Academy.
Note to Parents: Just wanted to send out a reminder
that for those Development Program athletes moving up to Race Academy this season, the program costs do not include lift tickets.
A season pass is required from Crystal Mountain.
NASA provides the instruction/training and racing. The athletes then are encouraged to ski as much as they possibly
can to refine the new skills they are learning during training. For our athletes to progress as much as the coaching
staff desires, it requires lots of what we call "free skiing" time by the athletes. Click on the link below
